Camden is an American piano player, singer, and songwriter within the pop/soul genre. Having gotten his start as a writer, he’s written songs for international Pop artists, and DJ’s alike with cuts through Sony Germany, Delicieuse Musique, and Dim Mak. Two of his most notable features are with Pastel, a Future Soul DJ based in London, and Prince Fox, a Progressive Pop DJ based in Los Angeles (credits Heilee Steinfeld, The Griswolds, Bella Thorne, Quinn XCII).
Camden’s collaboration with Pastel, “When It’s Real” is reminiscent of French Bossa Nova music, yet incorporates modern electronic beats. It was released through Crosswalk Records, and landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist with over 650,000 followers. Camden’s most recent feature with Prince Fox, Problem, is also featuring NBC Songland’s, Brigetta. Camden and Brigetta’s vocal capture a soulful yet moody ambiance atop of Prince Fox’s “pop that knocks”. It was recently released through Steve Aoki’s record label, Dim Mak, and received instant support from Marshmello, Pitbull, Steve Aoki, and Spotify’s curated playlist, New Music Friday (3,241,623 followers).
Camden is currently in the process of working on a solo project featuring producers from both America and Europe. Having influence from Jazz, Bossa Nova, and Hip Hop, other comparable artists include Chet Baker, Tom Misch, Lianne La Havas, SG Lewis, Jordan Rakei, and Bruno Major.
Camden has performed to sold out audiences across the globe, and was recently named a finalist in Project Aloft Star where he was featured in Pitchfork Magazine, and got to open for the world famous X Ambassadors. He also just recently opened up for ATO Records’ Rayland Baxter. Camden’s fan base continues to grow after surpassing 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
